Yeah….It’s Late

It’s not an anthology I’ve been hearing a lot of, but check out the cover for Huntress.  This is one I’m definitely going to be checking out since it has Caitlin Kittredge, Marjorie M. Liu, Jenna Maclaine and Christine Warren in it.  I’ve read novels from two of those four, the other two are new and I’ve been hearing great things about them.  Huntress has a release date of June 30th.

Interviews:

  • Jordan Gallard, the director of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Undead, by Park City Review
  • Joss Whedon on his upcoming series Dollhouse by The Futon Critic

Guess what Sidhe Vicious shared with me….the release date for the Twilight dvd.  So exciting.  It was announced over at Twilight Lexicon that the US release will be March 21st and they even have the official DVD cover posted (courtesy of Summit Entertainment).

Okay, io9 just became my favorite site to visit.  Seriously and it’s not because they recently linked to Literary Escapism either.  No, it’s because of the commentators (and the fact that they have some awesome articles).  Yesterday, I mentioned that Nicola over at Alpha Heroes was having a unique discussion.  Last night, io9 linked to said article and the comments following were hilarious (and there are pictures now).

CONTEST ALERTCynthia Eden is giving away an ARC of her upcoming paranormal romance Immortal Danger.  It doesn’t come out until March 31st, so if you want a head start on it, then I would get over there ASAP.  She’s going to pick a winner sometime Friday (as in tomorrow or later today depending on when you are reading this).

For the Terry Goodkind fans out there, the first seven episodes of The Legend of the Seeker are available over at Hulu.  I haven’t seen it yet nor have I heard anything about it, so I can’t say whether it’s good or not.  However, I am curious to see how it is.  I’ve read a few of the Sword of Truth novels that the show is based on and the characters will be interesting to see in live action.  You can also see the episodes over at the website.
