Book Reviews

9 May 2008 | Submitted by: Jackie | 2 Comments |

I just found out that Urban Fantasy Land has been adding links to my reviews on their website. That excited me. What can I say, I’m easily excited. There are people out who are actually reading my site. There are times I forget how large the book blog community is and that my site is actually seen by different people. Not everyone leaves comments, but that’s okay. Granted I would love it if everyone who stopped by left a comment, but I’ll take what I can get.

While I was checking out Urban Fantasy Land, I found some reviews to books that I haven’t had a chance to read yet. While I plan to get to them eventually, I thought I would let everyone else know about them. There are some novels I haven’t heard of and I’m going to head over to the reviews and check them out.

Books I can’t wait to get my hands on:

  • Dear Author, Love Vampires and Thrifty Reader have all reviewed From Dead to Worse by Charlaine Harris – I’m waiting on the library for my copy.
  • Graeme reviews Blood Noir by Laurell K. Hamilton – Lucky bastard. It doesn’t come out for another two weeks and I’m dying to get my hands on a copy.
  • Lover Enshrined by J. R. Ward

I am waiting for the library so that I can read From Dead to Worse, and The Host. I really must also finish off the Warlord series by Elizabeth Vaughan because I bought those ones plus Dagger Star!

I already got ‘From Dead to Worse’ and loved it as much as every other Sookie book! The Host is on order and hopefully I will get it sooner rather than later. Same goes for Romancing the Dead and Weddings From Hell. I have already read most of the others mentioned but there are a few I am waiting on or need to check out.
