Look Who’s Going to RT: Aria Kane

Aria KaneCan you introduce yourself to my readers a little?
Hi! I’m Aria Kane, a romance writer and recovering mechanical engineer.

I can be found at: Website | Blog | Facebook | Twitter | Google+ | GoodReads | Pinterest | Amazon

Can you introduce us to the world(s) that you have created?
In A TITAN FOR CHRISTMAS, it’s a future human society (no aliens – yet) that mines Saturn’s moon, Titan. The world of ONCE UPON A DARKNESS is a near-future zombie apocalypse, about 20 years after the apocalypse began. Most of the surviving humans life in Safe Cities.

Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
I’ve been once before. My advice is to not be afraid to talk to people! Some of the best parts of RT happen outside of the scheduled activities, in the bar and lobby late at night.

Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to or are planning on attending?
I am not this year – I’m taking it “easy” this year :-) I tend to plan my schedule the day before, so I can’t tell you about specific events :-)

Is there anything in particular you’re looking forward to or experiencing while in New Orleans?
I’m most looking forward to meeting up with old friends I only see 1-2 times per year as well as meeting some new ones!

If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
I’ll be the girl with the pixie cut drinking red wine ;-)

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
