Welcome to my alternate reality. Escaping into new worlds, meeting new characters and exploring different societies is the only way we have of leaving the harsh reality of life behind us...if only for a little bit.

Wow! Thanks for the awesome reviews. I'm blushing. I'm so glad you're enjoying the books!

I was very sad to write the last Victoria book, but it was time for the arc to end. How many more tragedies would Vicky have to face? She deserved a happy ending...at least, as happy as Illa Gardella can have.

And, really...thanks so much for your great reviews. I'm really glad you've enjoyed the books so much. :-)

I'm going to try the new author challenge. I'll say 25 to be safe but aim for 50. Shouldn't be too hard since I get books to review and am always scouting the web for new vampire stories to check out.

Some popular vampire series authors I haven't read yet include Stephanie Meyer and Charlaine Harris. I know! You'd think I've been under a rock or something. LOL.

Sigh...So many books, so little time.

[...] Literary Escapism has the new Kelley Armstrong cover for “Frostbitten” (Nov 2009). Rather different from the previous ones! I like. Also, rather intriguingly, I looked this title up on Amazon UK and while it had no image, it had the tagline “A New Hunt Begins… and an Ancient Secret is Revealed”. [...]

I am on Team Sebastian and still believe Vicki and he will slay off into the sunset together. I felt the whole Max and Vicky romance is just to add more tension on who Vicki will choose.
Eh, maybe I just have it bad for Sebastian since I find Max to be too much Mr Broody Pants all the time.

My fylgjur would be a dog. Dogs are very devoted, but most importantly is the idea that this is a choice they freely make.

Lisa, I loved the idea of the series skipping forward through time. How cool. And I was intrigued that the heroes will have different levels of awareness in their beast forms. Way to mix it up.

As for the mental image of writer running with pandas... Snork. I shall have to consult my rune cards and find my inner were-writer.

(P.S. I need my copy signed!)
