Sara Creasy Winner

Before I announce the winner, I wanted to make sure everyone knew about the current contests going on at Literary Escapism:

  1. Two copies of Cheat the Grave (signed) and City of Souls by Vicki Pettersson to four different readers! Contest ends June 1st!
  2. A copy of Moon Sworn by Keri Arthur. Contest ends June 3rd.
  3. The Baby pool – one $15 gift certificate is up for grabs. Contest ends August 26th.  (The naming portion of the contest has concluded…winner will be announced tonight.)

Sara Creasy Contest

Sara Creasy recently stopped by Literary Escapism and was generous enough to give away a copy of Song of Scarabaeus to one lucky winner.  In order to enter, everyone had to answer the question: How much technical details do you like in your science fiction/science fiction romances?.  Now, without further ado, the winner is:

ROBIN K who said: I do not like books to get to technical. I think it takes away from the story and can be distracting. Keep things simple and intorduce the technology ocassionaly in the story. There is nothing worse then reading a chapter with technical information only. I need paragraph breaks sometimes. :)

Congratulations Robin!

You have one week to send me an email at jackie AT literaryescapism DOT com, otherwise I’ll draw a new name when I post the current contest winners next weekend.

As always, I determined the winners by inputting all the entries into the List Randomizer, scrambling it up a couple of times, and then had the Research Randomizer pick a number.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
