Kathryne Kennedy Contest

I had the talented Kathryne Kennedy on Literary Escapism last week discussing her research methods for her new release, The Fire Lord’s Lover.  While she was here,  we gave away two copies of The Fire Lord’s Lover to two lucky readers.  In order to enter, everyone had to answer the question: Do you like seeing what kind of research authors do for their novels? PAM S who said: Yes! I am always fascinated by the amount of research authors put into their books. It is amazing how much knowledge is poored through. I often find myself browsing thru the info and getting into my own little learning binge.

Kelley Armstrong Contest

Thanks to the generous people at Wunderkind PR, I was given an ARC of Waking the Witch by Kelley Armstrong to give away to one of my readers. In order to enter, everyone had to answer the question: Who is your favorite character from Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series and why? If you haven’t read the series, what is it about the series that makes you want to? Now, without further ado, the winner is:

HEATHER B who said: I love this series. I don’t know which character I’d say is my favorite. I like them all for different reasons. I love the stories with Paige and her family and how they are dealing with Lucas family and Savannah growing up.

I love the wolves with Elena and Clay but I guess I really like Jeremy the best of the wolves. He is a good leader. has a quite calm about him and doesn’t rattle easy. And now he has Jamie.

There are so many good characters with rich story lines in this series.
