So I finally got around to reading Plum Lucky by Janet Evanovich. Yet again, Stephanie finds herself dealing with yet another unbelievable problem that also happens to involve one of the sexy men in her life. Granted, we really don’t see much of Diesel in the main novels, but he does come out to play in Plum Lucky. I understand why we don’t see much of Ranger or Morelli in the novellas, but we really don’t know much about Diesel and I think that takes a little away from him.
Anyway, the story was again fast paced and an easy read. The hijinks were quick and funny. There wasn’t that much character development, but that’s not what these novellas are for. Grandma Mazur was involved, so we all know what that means. The usual chaos that follows Stephanie was all there.
Overall, the novel was good while we wait for Fearless Fourteen. It was a good addition to the Stephanie Plum series.
