RT Booklovers Convention 2011

This year, the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention is being held in Los Angeles, California from April 6 to th 10th and I totally wish I could be there. I managed to get to two days of it this past year when it was in Columbus and I had a blast. My goal is for 2012, however, if you do have a chance to hit up the convention, I would totally do it.

RT Booklovers

The RT Booklovers Convention is a massive convention designed for readers.  There are a ton of different panels to attend and a chance for some free books.  It’s also the place to be if you want to run into a few authors.  If anyone does want to go, I would go register now.  I’ve heard the on-site hotel is generally booked before the first of the year (registration opened in September/October) and with it being in LA this year, I would expect a good turn out.

So you’re probably wondering why I’m bringing this up now, huh.  Well, last year, I had the chance to go to RT for a couple of days (again, had a blast) and a few weeks beforehand I started wondering who was all going to be there.  Yes, I know there’s a list on the RT website, but I was also wondering where certain authors were going to be.  So I came up with a quick and dirty RT Q&A and ended up with a great response.  So of course I want to do it again this year.

Here’s the skinny.  For any author or blogger who is going to be at RT this year, fill out the questions below and I’ll begin posting them in March.  The questions are pretty basic, just something to give a little light to both RT and yourself, so hopefully they won’t be painful.  If you want to check out last year’s responses, click here.

This was very much a last minute idea for this past RT, so I’m going to try and make it a little more organized this time around.  Depending on the response I get, I’ll begin posting the Q&As about 2 weeks prior to RT, but it’s really going to depend on how many authors want to take part in this.  Anyone who is attending can fill out the form.  If you don’t see the questionnaire below, please click here.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
