Each new installment of Julie Kagawa’s Iron Fey series somehow manages to be more amazing than the last and The Iron Queen was epic.
My name is Meghan Chase.
I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who’s sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I’m not sure anyone can survive it.
This time, there will be no turning back.
I’m not exactly sure what to say in this review, because there were a couple of big surprises that completely took me by surprise (I don’t know if it was because I was so adsorbed in the present part of the story that I wasn’t paying attention to the future of it, or if it was simply Julie’s amazing skills that kept me in the dark). I can say that, while the plot was slower than in the previous books, it wasn’t any less intense, if not more so.
Secrets are revealed, strange alliances are made, love is in the air and practically spilling out of the pages. The Iron Queen will not disappoint readers at all.

I have been waiting for this last book to read the series. Glad to hear it is worth the wait.
I am looking forward to reading this series at some point!
I appreciate that you didn’t really get into the plot. I can’t wait to read this. I hardly ever read YA, but for some reason I love this series.
I couldn’t wait to read this one before, and you’ve given me even more incentive now. Great Review! :3
