Retribution Rising

Something I didn’t know, Orbit likes to print an interview with a debut author in the back of their first published novel.  That’s kind of cool.  Why did I bring this up?  Nicole Peeler is getting ready to release her first novel, Tempest Rising, and she is looking for questions for her interview.  I haven’t seen a publication date yet, but I’m sure it’s coming out soon.  Here’s a little bit about her novel.

Jane True is a twenty-something secret night swimmer and unintentional social pariah. Living in small town Rockabill, Maine, Jane has always known she didn’t quite fit in with so-called normal society. She just didn’t know that her absent mother’s legacy would give her entry into a world that included vampires, goblins and succubae.

Check out the new cover SciFiGuy found. It’s Jeanne Stein’s Retribution, the fifth Anna Strong novel, which is set to come out August 25, 2009.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
