There’s going to be another Blog Talk Radio and Fangs, Fur, and Fey live podcast discussing Writers on Writing (Part 1) on Feb 27th at 2 PM EST. This time around, authors Yasmine Galenorn, Marie Brennan, Patrice Michelle, Marlene Perez, and John Levitt will be around to discuss the craft of writing – whether it’s about characters, plots, point of views, etc. Basically, they are talking about everything you can think of. Here’s the link to the show. This is also the link to listen to the show live and chat with the authors via online (obviously). The call-in number is 347.826.9684.

New Anthology Announced! Laurell K. Hamilton, Marjorie Liu, Yasmine Galenorn and Sharon Shinn will all be contributing to an anthology called Never After, which is set to release November 3, 2009. I can tell you the Galenorn novella will be another Otherworld story, but that’s about it at the moment.
CONTEST ALERT – Bitten by Books is giving away a copy of Carrie Vaughn’s Kitty Raises Hell. Oh, I’m sorry, they are giving away FIFTEEN copies of Kitty Raises Hell. Yeah, that’s a contest you need to get in on.
Carrie Vaughn announced the title of Kitty #7 – Kitty’s House of Horrors. She’s still working on it, so obviously there isn’t a release date yet, but they are aiming for a January 2010 release.
Keri Arthur has posted up a chapter of her upcoming novel, Deadly Desire. I haven’t read it yet, but I’m going over to do that as soon as this is posted.
CONTEST ALERT – In lieu of the grand opening of her forum, Michele Bardsley has a contest running for autographed copies of Because Your Vampire Said So, Wait Till Your Vampire Gets Home, an ARC of Over My Dead Body (which comes out May 5th) and Broken Heart swag. That’s just for people signing for free access. Anyone who wants to go Supreme will get entered for a $25 Amazon Gift Certificate, a signed ARC of Over My Dead Body (Broken Heart #5) and a signed manuscript of Come Hell or High Water (Broken Heart #6).
SciFiGuy shared that a new anthology is in the mix. It’s being edited by Ellen Datlow and will be called Naked City: New Tales of Urban Fantasy. This is going to be another one of those huge collections (well, huge for an anthology), so if you’re interested in seeing who is all there, check out SciFiGuy’s post where he lists all the stories and authors.
CONTEST ALERT – Nalini Singh is giving away an ARC of Erin McCarhty’s Hard and Fast, which comes out May 5th, for her Angels’ Blood celebration. The contests are only up for about 24 hours and it went live this afternoon, so there’s not a lot of time left to get in on the loot.
Love the post title :) Thanks for the links. Didn’t know about the Never After collection which will be a must buy. Sharon Shinn says it is a collection of ‘feminist fairy tales’.
