The Hubby = Paid Author

JMorgan-Guitarist Tab NotebookJesse came home so excited today. He received his first check from Lulu for a book he wrote a couple years ago. He has that childish delight in his eyes that I’m sure every author has gotten when they get that first check. It may only be $50, but it’s the first of what he hopes to be many. Even if it wasn’t for the fantasy novel he’s currently working on, he’s still excited about it.

Guitarist’s Tab Notebook

Many guitarists never bother to learn musical notation- instead they learn to read guitar tablature, a notation designed to help quickly and easily read music with very little training. The Guitarist’s Tab Notebook was designed to be a journal for guitarists, regardless of experience level. The first few pages contain several useful diagrams and tidbits to help the player write their own music, while the rest provides a place to jot down chords, solos and lyrics. This book is meant to be written in, so get busy!

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. Awesome! If not for books like this one my son would have never learned how to play. Congrats to both of you.
