It’s official! Mercy Thompson is getting drawn. The Dabel Brothers have signed Patricia Briggs to create a four part series centered around Mercy. “The comic will be a prequel to the comics titled Mercedes Thompson: Homecoming. I’m assuming they mean a prequel to the novels, but I’m not going to argue with them if that means there are going to be more comics featuring Mercy and Adam. It’s not due out to later this year, but it’s something to look forward to.

This is great news, I would love to see comics of Mercy. It seems lots of Urban Fantasy type books are being made into comics these days which can only be a good thing. I read The Fall (the Angel first comic) at the weekend which was interesting, I can’t wait to see where they take it next and I have the two Buffy graphic novels to catch up with as well from after the final TV episode. Bring on more comics…
