As I go to the various author sightings that have been occurring lately, I’ve been snagging an additional copy to give away her and I’ve totally forogtten about a few that I have.  So now it’s time to give them away.  All of these are signed by the author and could be yours…

Angels’ Blood by Nalini Singh

NSingh-Angels BloodVampire hunter Elena Deveraux knows she is the best- but she does not know if even she is good enough for this job. Hired by the dangerously beautiful archangel Raphael, a being so lethal that no mortal wants his attention, Elena knows failure is not an option—even if the task is impossible.

Because this time, it’s not a wayward vamp she has to track. It’s an archangel gone bad.

The job will put Elena in the midst of a killing spree like no other—and pull her to the razor’s edge of passion. Even if the hunt does not destroy her, succumbing to Raphael’s seductive touch just might. For when archangels play, mortals break

Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh

NSingh-Slave to SensationIn a world that denies emotions, where the ruling Psy punish any sign of desire, Sascha Duncan must conceal the feelings that brand her as flawed. To reveal them would be to sentence herself to the horror of “rehabilitation” – the complete psychic erasure of everything she ever was…

Both human and animal, Lucas Hunter is a changeling hungry for the very sensations the Psy disdain. After centuries of uneasy coexistence, these two races are now on the verge of war over the brutal murders of several changeling women. Lucas is determined to find the Psy killer who butchered his packmate, and Sascha is his ticket into their closely guarded society. But he soon discovers that this ice-cold Psy is very capable of passion – and that the animal in him is fascinated by her. Caught between their conflicting worlds, Lucas and Sascha must remain bound to their identities – or sacrifice everything for a taste of darkest temptation…

There is now an official giveaway policy, so if there’s any question, please consult that.  However, all of LE’s contests have gotten simpler.  All you have to do is answer this question: What are you currently (have just finished) reading and why should we (or not) read it?  Or, if you’re not reading anything at the moment, which September release are you anxiously waiting for?  Remember, you must answer the question in order to be entered.

And that’s it!  I’m getting rid of the additional entries option.  I’ve found a new WP Plug-in that’ll make picking winners really easy and people were saying they liked the one option better.  However, this does mean that I will be moderating the comments a little closer than I have in the past.  Any comment that does not answer the question will be deleted and will not count towards the contest (and I will not be notifying anyone if I do disqualify their comment.

Even though I’m not giving the additional entries any more, you can still help support the authors in the contest by sharing it on your blog, Twitter, Facebook or anywhere you can. After all, the more people who are aware of these fabulous authors ensures we get more fabulous stories.

The one thing I am not changing is that the winner must post a review of the novel someplace. Whether it is on their own blog, Amazon, GoodReads, LibraryThing or wherever, it doesn’t matter. Just help get the word out.

The contest will stay open until midnight on September 15th at which time I’ll determine the winners with help from the snazzy new plug-in I have.  I have not been contacting winners, so you will need to check back to see if you’ve won.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. Hi! Well, I’m currently reading two books, but I would recommend you One gRave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost – it’s awsome! Everytime I read something new from Frost, I can’t believe how did I managed to survive without it between the release of the previos book and this one :) Her characters are really unique and special, and the stories are full of with love, passion and action. If you’ve seen and you liked the first two Underworld movie (with Kate Beckinsale), I can assure you that you’ll like the Night Huntress books! :)
Thank you for the giveaway! :)

  3. I’m waiting for AS I WAKE by Elizabeth Scott to be released! I fell in love with Scott’s debut book and constantly follow her works!

  4. I just finished reading Deadly Descent by Kaylea Cross which was fantastic! So far I’ve read a few nolves where the hero was an ex-soldier/marine/navy guy, but this novel was a combination of action flick and documentary. As I’m not familiar with army lingo I had to research a couple of abbreviations, divisions and procedures, and I loved that I learned a lot while still reading for fun. It was such an action packed story, I didn’t catch my breath until I finished reading it. I discovered a new wonderful author and will read her backlist novels, I can only recommend Kaylea Cross’ books! :-)

I can’t wait for the 2nd Secret McQueen book by Sierra Dean, it will release on Sept 20!

Thanks for the great giveaway, would love to win Last Sacrifice :-D

  5. I’m currently reading City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare. She has create a wonderful world and characters but I’m not so excited about the story yet. I think I’m the only one.
    Thank you for the giveaway!

  6. Currently reading Archangel’s Blade by Nalini Singh. This is a not to be missed book. Dmitri’s story is so hot and so perfect for his character. Can’t think of a single complaint about what I’ve read so far.

  7. I just finished reading Conspiracy in Death by JD Robb! Everyone should read her. I’ve got a long way to read until I can read her latest September release, New York to Dallas. But i’ve already hot my hot little hands on it! I just need to read super fast to get caught up! Read the In Death series! Eve and Roarke are worth your time!

  8. I just started reading Frost Moon by Anthony Francis. I like it but I’m not far enough into it to say if I’d recommend it or not. I read Sylvia Day’s A Touch of Crimson earlier in the week and loved it. For anyone interested in books on angels/fallen angels, I highly recommend it. She has created an interesting world that had me hooked from the beginning.

  9. I am currently reading Something About You by Julie James! It’s such a fabulous and entertaining read, making me laugh out loud and gaining weird looks. It’s worth it though! I would def recommend it!

  10. I have recently finished several books by Maria V. Snyder in both her Study series, and her Glass series. They are great books to read and i would recommend them to others as they are quite different than other books I have read, they have magic and stealth, mysteries and spies. They are very interesting books.
I am currently reading Grave Secrets by Kathy Reichs, and the only endorsement that needs to be said here is if you are a fan of the television show Bones then you will definitely love these books as they are what the show is based on.

  11. I just finished Archangel’s Blade! And have not been able to pick up another book because Dimitri’s book was that good! I love this damaged and emotionally broken hero and how he and Honor help eachother heal and move on! Reminds me of BDB’s Lover Awakened- Zsadists’s book, which was my fav of that series! Archangel’s Blade is a must!
