I had the wonderful writing duo Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguié on Literary Escapism last week answering a few questions about their latest release, Damned. While they were here, we gave away a signed copy of Crusade and Damned (these are bookplates within the books). The Sort of Blue Cover Contest
As a reminder, I’m giving away a copy of CS Friednman’s Legacy of Kings, Robin Hobb’s Dragon Haven and Stephen R. Donaldson’s Against All Things Ending. In order to enter, everyone had to answer the question What are you currently (have just finished) reading and why should we (or not) read it? Legacy of Kings – Raonaid L who said: Last night at midnight I finished the ARC of Tempted by Elisabeth Naughton. If people like Greek Mythology, the Argonauts, hunky men, kick ass attitude, then this is the romance book for them.
Right now I’m in the dilhemma of reading Blood Magic by Jennifer Lyon (I put it to the side so I could read the ARC to review for the author) or Caridad Pineiro’s The Lost. Both are for my own pleasure but I’ve been wanting Pineiro’s book for some time.
Dragon Haven – JENNIFER H who said: I just finished reading the Lure of the Vampire by Bertina Varney. Loved this book, very informative and I learned quite a bit about the vampire Genre I didn’t know. I really enjoyed learning also about lots of books that are out there that have vampires in there from Authors I haven’t ever heard of!
Against All Things Ending – CATHIE who said: I’m in the middle of Haunted Honeymoon by Marta Acosta. The book is a trip! I love all the tongue in cheek jokes!
