The Halloween themed anthology Entangled contains novellas by authors I know and love, and by authors I have yet to try. I already love Jennifer Estep and was seriously excited to see that her contribution, Halloween Frost, was set in her Mythos Academy series – quite possibly my favorite series of hers.
It’s Halloween at Mythos Academy, but Gwen Frost and her friends are in for more tricks than treats when they run into a mythological monster intent on killing them.
Although Halloween Frost was fairly short, it lacked for nothing. There was action, friendship, candy and an appearance from that hunky Spartan bad boy Logan Quinn.
As for the plot, mythological creatures and trick or treating don’t necessarily work well together. You’ll have to read Halloween Frost to figure out what I’m talking about, but the action was just as intense and realistic as Estep has been known for by her fans.
For anyone new to Estep’s Mythos Academy series, Halloween Frost is a perfect place to start, since its plot is its own little story. In other words, you don’t have to read Touch of Frost to understand what happens in Halloween Frost. But for those of you who have read and loved Touch of Frost, Halloween Frost will only whet your appetite for the upcoming release of Kiss of Frost.
If that doesn’t entice you to try out Entangled, then I should add that all proceeds are being donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. A totally worthy cause and all the more reason for you to go out a buy this anthology!

Loved Touch of Frost and can’t wait for the next book. Too bad her novella is short.
