Cover Mania

Check out the gorgeous cover for the fourth Night Huntress novel by Jeaniene Frost!  Oohh!!  I’m so excited.  Destined for an Early Grave is scheduled to come out July 28th and I so can’t wait!

Newsweek has their own worst to best vampires in history. It’s not a top 10, but they count down 10 of film’s vampires from the worst (Max Schreck as Nosferatu) to the best (Salma Hayek in From Dusk Till Dawn). While I can’t say that I disagree with their choices, I’m sure they could have found other “vampires” that probably needed to be on this list more than others. For one…David Boreanaz was a hot vampire. Even with the makeup that was Angelus.

I have to thank Willa for pointing this one out to me – the Demonica trilogy by Larissa Ione is going to have more books than 3!  Ione has been contracted for two more novels in this series and she’ll have more information on book 4 when Passion Unleashed comes out next week.  Here’s the comment that was left on my review:

I’ll be posting details about book 4 once Passion Unleashed releases. I’m hoping to have a cover by then, too! The book is tentatively titled Ecstasy Unveiled.

There area a ton of new covers coming out today, so here they are: The anthology, Four Dukes and a Devil, featuring Cathy Maxwell, Elaine Fox, Jeaniene Frost, Sophia Nash & Tracy Anne Warren (June 30, 2009); Stacia Kane’s Unholy Ghosts (October 27, 2009); Vicki Pettersson’s City of Souls (June 30, 2009); and another anthology, Unbound, featuring Kim Harrison, Melissa Marr, Jeaniene Frost, Vicki Pettersson & Jocelynn Drake (August 25, 2009).

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. Yup, I was. :) It was so awesome when Deb emailed me and told me she used a quote from my review. There’s another one from Belle Bridge Books that I was quoted in as well. At least I want to say there is.

    How did you find that?
