Sunny Twilight

A strange thought just popped into my head. It would be awesome if vampires did exist and I was one. Then I wouldn’t be sweating and sticky from the heatwave we had over the weekend. It could get as hot or cold as it wanted and I wouldn’t care because it wouldn’t affect me. Plus it would make moving all of our stuff soo much easier.

Just a heads up…I’m going to be slowing down on the posts for a little bit. Our lease is up at the end of the month and we’re in the process of buying a house. So far, we don’t have a closing date, but we’re trying to make it happen by the end of the month. That means I’m going to have a lot of packing to do, packing that is difficult to do with a 15 month old demanding my attention whenever I look away from him. Then there will be the time for unpacking, and again, I’m assuming it’s going to be difficult with Ian wanting to go play outside in our new backyard. He loves being outside and it’s kind of hard to unpack when I’m no where the boxes. So needless to say, while I’ll still be reading, I won’t have as much time to read or to surf the net as much as I have in the past. Sorry guys, but a really good source for vampire news is Marta Acosta’s Vampire Wire.

If you’re one of the lucky ones going to ComicCon in San Diego and you happen to be a Twilight fan, then you’ll be ecstatic to know that the director and cast will also be there.

Lost Boys: The Tribe now has an official website. The movie is coming out on DVD 7/29/08.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
