Interviews of Fae

Maggie Stiefvater has a contest running where you can win an ARC of her new novel, Lament: The Faerie Queen’s Deception. All you have to do is read all of June’s fiction up at Merry Sisters of Fate and then post a comment on Maggie’s livejournal blog. If I wasn’t moving next week, I would take the time to read it, but I don’t think I’m going to get a chance. Even so, I did add her novel to my TBR list, so it’ll show up here at some point. In case you’re interested, here’s a blurb for Lament.

Dee Monaghan is a painfully shy but gifted musician. She’s about to find out she’s a Cloverhand — someone who can see faeries. When a mysterious boy enters her ordinary suburban life, seemingly out of nowhere, Dee finds herself infatuated. Sucks that he’s a faerie assassin, and she’s his next mark.

Amberkatze has an interview with Natasha Rhodes, author of Dante’s Girl and Last Angel (due out in July).

Jeri Smith-Ready is talking to Sarah Beth Durst, author of Into the Wild and Out of the Wild. This is interesting series which tells the story of Julie, Rapunzel’s daughter, who is out to save the world. It sounds interesting, so we’ll see what it’s like.

Rachel Vincent cornered Marie Brennan, author of Midnight Never Come (first in the Onyx Court series), Doppelganger, Warrior, and Warrior & Witch.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
