RT Booklovers Convention 2012

It’s that time of year again, where the RT Booklovers Convention is only weeks away.  I’m really excited about the convention this year. I’ll be there from Wednesday through Sunday, roaming the halls and trying too see/meet as many of my favorite authors as I can.

RTChicago

The RT Booklovers Convention will be held April 11th through April 15th at The Hyatt Regency O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois and will feature a ton of different panels, all with chances to meet your favorite authors.  This isn’t just an urban fantasy convention either. It’s the Romantic Times annual event that features authors from all genres.

So you’re probably wondering why I’m bringing this up now, huh.  Starting tomorrow, and for the third year, Literary Escapism will be showing you just a few of the amazing authors that will not only be roaming the halls, but will also be at the massive 300+ author book signing on April 14th.  What can I say, when I found out I was going in 2010, I wanted to know who was going to be there and since I wasn’t the only one, I came up with a quick and dirty RT Q&A.  It ended up with such a great response, that I can’t help but keep doing it.  It’s a good thing since I’ll be there once again and yet again I want to know who’s going to be there.  *grin* So if you’re going to be at the RT Booklovers Convention and are curious to see who will be there, you could look at the author book signing list, but come back to LE daily and see how you can find some of your favorite authors.

On a side note, I still have a few spots left for the Look Who’s Going feature and if you’re an author (or blogger) and are planning on attending the RT Booklovers Convention in Chicago and want to participate, just fill out this quick form.  I will only be accepting authors until all the spots are filled.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
