Look Who’s Going to RT: Larissa Ione

Larissa IoneCan you introduce yourself to my readers a little?
I’m the author of the Demonica and Lords of Deliverance series, which are both set in the same paranormal world, and I also write erotic romance under the name Sydney Croft with partner Stephanie Tyler.

I can be found at: website | Blog | Facebook | Twitter

Can you introduce us to the world that you have created?
The Demonica/LOD world is all about demons, vampires, angels, were-creatures…you name it. The Demonica books (Pleasure Unbound) are set in an underworld hospital where the staff and patients are anything BUT human, and the Lords of Deliverance books (Eternal Rider), which are a spinoff of the Demonica books, are based on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. All the books are dark, but the LOD books are even darker than the Demonica ones. Probably because the characters are working around an apocalypse. :)

Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
I’m a veteran! I love RT! As far as advice, I’d just say to be prepared for one big party. It’s very laid back and lots of fun. And please don’t be afraid to approach authors! We LOVE readers, and that’s why we go to things like this. Yay!

Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to?
I’ll be on a Dystopian Romance panel with Ann Aguirre as the captain. I’m definitely looking forward to it. I’m not sure what panels I’ll be attending though. I usually am very last-minute with those.

If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
As in…what do I look like? Um…look for the chick with pink in her hair. Or blue. Hmm, I’m not sure what I’ll do this year…

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
