Can you introduce us to the world that you have created?
The Otherworld Series: (a long running open-ended series, which starts with Witchling)

Meet the D’Artigo Sisters–three half human, half-Fae, wild and sexy members of the OIA–the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. Camille, a witch, Delilah, a werecat, and Menolly, an acrobat extraordinaire turned vampire, are sent Earthside to keep them out of trouble by their superiors, who consider the girls nothing but a bunch of bumbling half-breeds. But the girls soon find themselves smack in the middle of Demon-Central when Shadow Wing, the leader of the Subterranean Realms, decides to attempt a coup on both Earth and Otherworld. From their home in a seedy suburb of Seattle, the sisters must use every ounce of erratic power they have to thwart the havoc about to unfold. Together with Camille’s three not-quite-human boyfriends (a dragon shifter, a youkai-kitsune, and one of the dark & charming Fae), Delilah’s half-dragon fiancé, and Menolly’s werepuma girlfriend, and a troop of friends including an FBH (full-blood-human) detective named Chase Johnson, Iris the house sprite, and Maggie–their baby calico gargoyle, they must use all of their collective talents to prevent the demons from taking over as the three sisters attempt to save two worlds, one monster at a time.

The Indigo Court Series: (a series that will wrap up at book five, but starts with Night Myst)

Eons ago, vampires tried to turn the Dark Fae in order to harness their power. Instead, they created a demonic enemy more powerful than they dared to dream. Bent on enslaving the world, the Vampiric Fae have been quietly massing their strength for centuries. Now, Myst, queen of the Indigo Court, is rising again…and a long-prophesied war is brewing. Born witches, Cicely Waters and her cousin Rhiannon–who are jet and amber, the moon and the sun–and their friends are the caught between ancient enemies, trying to protect all that they love.”

Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
Not my first convention but yes, my first time at RT. As with any convention—don’t try to do everything. Pick your favorite activities and focus on them.

Bring comfortable clothing.

Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to?
Yes, I will be speaking on a panel with Ann Aguirre, “Beyond Unicorns & Elves: Writing Extraordinary Fantasy Fiction”

I will also be at the huge author signing. Beyond that, I’m winging it, though I do intend to attend some of the parties and dances.

If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
The short woman covered with tattoos. Seriously, I’m heavily inked, I’m short, and I’m euphemistically what is termed “plus-size”

Also, I wear dresses, you’ll never catch me in a pair of trousers of any sort. And I wear makeup. A lot.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
