Look Who’s Going to RT: Chloe Neill

Chloe NeillCan you introduce yourself to my readers a little?
Hi, everyone! I’m Chloe Neill, author of the Chicagoland Vampires (SOME GIRLS BITE) and Dark Elite (FIRESPELL) series. I live in the Midwestern United States, and I am obsessed with J.D. Robb, 30 Rock, Diet Coke, and Nutella.

I can be found at: website | Facebook | Twitter

Can you introduce us to the world that you have created?
Sure! Merit is the 28 year-old heroine of the Chicagoland Vampires series. After a rough start as a vampire, she’s become Sentinel of one of the country’s oldest vampire Houses, and one of three Houses in Chicago. She has a tumultuous relationship with Ethan Sullivan, the once and future Master of Cadogan House. The sixth book in the series, BITING COLD, will be released in August 2012.

Lily is the almost-16 year-old heroine of the Dark Elite series. She’s been sent to boarding school in Chicago under weird circumstances, and she’s trying to find her way in an underground world full of monsters and magic.

Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
This is my first time! I am thrilled to be attending.

Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to?
I haven’t yet arranged my “lurker” schedule, as I’m still working on BITING COLD edits, but I’m looking forward to participating in a great panel featuring Jeaniene Frost and Charlaine Harris.

If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
Curly hair, loud laugh and Apple laptop. And probably a Diet Coke.

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
