When do you overdose on a series? Is it only 1 or 2 books or do you need a good hefty number before you need to move on to something else?
Me, personally, overdosing takes a lot for me. Especially if it’s an author I like. For instance, when I first found LKH, I want to say Incubus Dreams was out as hardcover. It’s the 12th book in the series and I went out and read the previous 11 all in one shot. I don’t think I’ve reached a limit of overdose yet, but I’ve never really thought about it either.
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
