Going Under NOS-4R2

LDane-Going UnderOne quite note before we get started, LE is looking to add a Fantasy/SciFi/Steampunk reviewer.  If you’re a fan of the genre and might be interested, all the details can be found here.

Lauren Dane has posted a few snippets from a couple of her Brown Siblings novels: Ben, Todd and Erin from Laid Bare, currently available; Gillian from Never Enough, which is also available; Elise from Coming Undone, which is available; Erin and Ben from Laid Open, which releases; and this last one isn’t a Brown Siblings, but features a Chase sibling from Making Chase, currently available as well.

Shiloh Walker has posted a couple of snippets from a few of her upcoming novels: a new RS WIP which does not have a release date yet; her second Blade novel, Night Blade, which is due out next year.

Author Appearances:

Keri Arthur recently shared some fabulous news. She’s sold two more novels in her Dark Angels series as well as a whole new series involving a phoenix, a fire spirit capable of taking on human form who is also cursed with the ability to foresee death via her dreams. There’s no word on when the new series will launch, but it’s still something to be excited about.

Ilona Andrews has announced the title to the sixth Kate Daniels novel. After many MANY considerations, it’s been narrowed down to Magic Rises and will be out.

JHill-NOS4R2There are always more fabulous covers popping up. To see them all, head over to facebook, where I’ve added them to the September album for your viewing pleasure.

Have you had a chance to see the first edition of Moth Tales yet? Episode two and three are also now available, so you better hurry before you miss much more.

Jocelynn Drake is going on tour! I’m actually quite excited as she’s going to be in Cincinnati, Dayton and Lansing, which gives me three chances to see her. I’m not sure which one I’ll go to yet. Nicole is trying to convince to come down for Cincinnati, but I have a feeling I’ll likely be in Lansing.

Science Fiction.com has the story that Jessica Shirvington’s Embrace has a scripts in the works for CW, written by Bill Laurin and Glenn Davis. There’s no word on when a pilot might be planned, but there’s more than just talk on this one.

Embrace will be based on the book by Jessica Shirvington  and deals with protagonist Violet Eden, a teenage girl who, on her 17th birthday, finds out she’s a Grigori, a half-angel who is bound to protect humanity from fallen angels. She discovers that she is the “key to a centuries-old war between fallen angels and their earthly protectors.” In other words, switch vampires to angels and you get ‘Violet the Fallen Angel Slayer’… I mean Embrace.

Jennifer Armintrout has posted the 12th chapter of her Fifty Shades Darker reading recap. To see the previous chapters, click here.

Lauren Dane has a new facebook page. If you’re a fan of her previous one, make sure you jump over here to keep updated as she’ll be deleted the old one soon.

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. You should come to Lansing, that way I know I will have at least one person at Lansing and one person at Cincinnati. Now I just need to bribe someone to go to the Dayton one so I won’t have to worry about being lonely. :)
