School’s In Contest: Angel’s Flight by Nalini Singh

Schools In (200px)You can’t go back to school without a few essentials, right? Nalini Singh wanted to be here, but due to deadlines (and we totally want more stories, right?), she was unable to participate. However, she’s sent along this fabulous beauty instead – Angel’s Flight – and I know you want it. *grin*

NSingh-Angels FlightIn Angel’s Wolf a vampire becomes fascinated with the seductive angel who rules Louisiana. But all is not what it appears to be in her court.

Meet Nalini Singh!

I’ve been writing as long as I can remember and all of my stories always held a thread of romance (even when I was writing about a prince who could shoot lasers out of his eyes). I love creating unique characters, love giving them happy endings and I even love the voices in my head. There’s no other job I would rather be doing. In September 2002, when I got the call that Silhouette Desire wanted to buy my first book, Desert Warrior, it was a dream come true. I hope to continue living the dream until I keel over of old age on my keyboard.

Contest Time!

Nalini is giving away a copy of Angel’s Flight. To enter, all you have to do is answer this one question: Who is your favorite character in Singh’s Guild Hunters series and why? If you haven’t read the series yet, why not and how can we convince you to read it? Remember, you must answer the question in order to be entered.

Even though I’m not giving the additional entries any more, you can still help support this author by sharing this contest on your blog, Twitter, Facebook, or anywhere you can. After all, the more people who are aware of this fabulous author ensures we get more fabulous stories.

The winner must post a review of the novel someplace. Whether it is on their own blog, Amazon, GoodReads, LibraryThing or wherever, it doesn’t matter. Just help get the word out.

All School’s In contests will remain open until October 7th at which time I’ll determine the winner with help from the snazzy new plug-in I have. Have you checked out the other School’s In contests yet? Check out the Master List to see all the School’s In giveaways

I have not been contacting winners, so you will need to check back to see if you’ve won.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. I would have to go for Raphael. Just because he is the character that we know best. And he is an angel! And then Dimitri. Cos he was just so awesome in his book.

  2. Illium is absolutely amazing! I can’t wait for his book, but I know I’ll hate his girl just because she gets to have him.

  3. I love Nalini Singh’s writing. If i have to choose a favorite character from her Guild Hunters series, I would have to say I love Illium. Although he’s beautiful and does his best to look like a happy butterfly, he hides so much pain. I cannot wait to read his story and learn more about what has shaped him. Also, I just want him to find happiness with another person! Having loved and lost his mortal (and his wings, though those grew back) and watched over her, Illium is one of the characters I most want to have someone to love and to love him back. His love for his mother also makes me love him more.

  4. One of my favourite characters is Ashwini. I like that she is known to be a bit ‘out there’ but is still seen to be a really good friend to the other Guild Hunters.

  5. I haven’t read this series yet but I do have them sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be read. Or at least most of them.

  6. My favourite character is Elena. She’s got so much heart in her and she loves her family so much even if they treat her like garbage sometimes. She’ll do anything to protect the one’s she loves and she won’t let anyone (even an insane Archangel) get in her way of forging a future with her true love. The way Nalini has written her makes it extremly easy to visulise her and the rest of the characters. She’s so human and I love that she stays that way through all of her challenges! Strongest character I have ever had the privledge to read about and a real inspiration to be strong myself. I’m so happy that we’re getting another book featuring Elena and Raphael!

  7. Hmm this is hard. I’d have to say Elena is my favorite character, because she is a strong, independent heroine, which is one of the reasons I love this series so much.

Of course, I also love Raphael, Bluebell, Venom etc. :D
