Drake Pang Rice & Browne Winners

Contest Winners

Contest WinnersBefore I get to the winners of the contests that just ended, I wanted to remind everyone that Darynda Jones is giving away a copy of Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet – ends Nov 11th.

Sleeping Beauty Trilogy by Anne Rice

Thanks to the wonderful people at Penguin, I had three sets of the classic Sleeping Beauty trilogy by Anne Rice (writing as AN Roguelaure) to give away. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: We recently posted a list of 50+ titles that many readers consider to be must-reads of the erotica genre. Is your favorite listed there? Do you think we’re missing one? If you’re just getting into the genre, what is it that’s keeping your attention? Now, without further ado, the winner is:

AM Gray who said: Ward, Hamilton, Reisz… all favourites. What keeps me? I suppose it’s the ‘what if’; the possibilities. You get in an elevator with a gorgeous guy and you can imagine that you have an erotic encounter up against the wall. Or that you can mate with an aggressive alpha werewolf or a dazzling fae male. It’s not real, it’s fantasy and for women, the mind is the biggest sex organ.

KATRINA T who said: Annabel Joseph needs to be on your list. She writes bdsm erotica that are a bit darker than Fifty Shades. If you haven’t read any of her works yet, start with Comfort Object.

TRISHA S who said: First of all I just need to say I’m going to a book fair tonight and this list is going with me ;) so I talk you for that. A lot of my favorites are on here and it’s a great list. One I noted that’s a keeper for me is Karen Marie Moning’s Highlander Series. If those fae and highlander fellas don’t get your blood boiling, I don’t know what will.

Congratulations AM Gray, Katrina and Trisha!

Allison Pang

Nicole had the chance to interrogate…err chat with the lovely Allison Pang and while she was here, they gave away a signed copy of A Brush of Darkness along with some swag. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: Have you had a chance to read about Abby yet? What do you love about her and company? If you haven’t read it yet, what has made you so interested in this series? Now, without further ado, the winner is:

Mel S who said: I haven’t read any of the series yet – but it is on my wishlist! I confess I love the idea of a mini unicorn in her dresser! :-)

Congratulations Mel S!

Jocelynn Drake

I had the fabulous Jocelynn Drake on Literary Escapism, talking with Sofie from her new release Angels’ Ink. While she was here, we gave away the freaking sweet prize of: Angel’s Ink, Asylum Interviews: BronxAsylum Interviews: Trixie and Blood by Moonlight all to go with a shiny new Snow 16GB NOOK® HD. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: If you could be any supernatural creature in Low Town, what would it be? Now, without further ado, the winner is:

Snow 16GB NOOK® HD KRISTYN S who said: I haven’t read any of the books, but if I had to pick I would like to be a fairy or an elf. I’ve always loved the idea of being able to fly (it’s always been my favorite superpower) and fairies can fly. And from what I can tell, Trixie is pretty amazing so being an elf would be great too. I can’t wait to read these books!

signed copy of Angel’s InkKESLYNN who said: I would like to be a troll. They need more love. Sometimes my job requires me to sit near bridges all day and those are my “Bridge Troll” days.

Congratulations Kristyn S and Keslynn!

SG Browne Contest

I recently received a copy of SG Browne’s I Saw Zombies Eating Santa Claus and I couldn’t resist giving it away during the lastest zombie inspired Sunday Surprise post. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: The holiday season will soon be upon us…which holiday stories/carols would you like to see zombified? Now, without further ado, the winner is:

JENN who said: The Grinch would make an excellent zombie, as would all of those adorable Whos in Whoville! :)

Congratulations Jenn!

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
