A Great Problem

Seriously, I have no clue which book to pick up.  I have a couple that I need to read sooner rather than later, but all of them are good (or so I’m told) and I can’t decided.

The first one is Destined for an Early Grave by Jeaniene Frost.  I’ve read it once before, but I didn’t do a review since I had it way early.  However, I offered up my copy for the forum contest and that’s currently running right now (if you want an early ARC, go join Frost Fans) and ends on the 22nd, so I’ll be shipping it out on Thursday.

The second one is Prey by Rachel Vincent and she’ll be here for an interview on Tuesday, so I kind of want to get that up soon.

The third on is Gena Showalter’s new one, Seduce the Darkness, and I’ve heard good things about her Alien Huntress series.  However, I haven’t read anything by her yet.

Now the question is…which one do I read first?

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. As someone who spends a fair amount of time wandering around my own stacks of books, trying to decide what to read next, I have no suggestions, only sympathy!

  2. Rachel’s. I have the same problem and I’ve decided to read them according to the proximity of their release date and/or the proximity to whatever event at my blog that it corresponds with.

  3. This is the hardest problem for any reader to solve! But if you want a suggestion I would say read Prey by Rachel Vincent since she will be visiting your site very soon.
