Reading Moods

It’s kind of odd. After finishing Acheron on Wednesday, I haven’t picked up another book. I haven’t felt the need to. I think I’m going through one of my phases where I don’t read for awhile, or at least not like I normally do. I did pick up the Hotter than Hell anthology, so I’m still reading, just not as quickly. So reviews will be a bit more scarce for the moment. I have a couple of novels I need to read by some new authors, however, starting new authors in my current mood doesn’t generally end well. So I’m going to go through few anthologies that are waiting for me and reading the short stories should help.

It’s been a little quietly lately since I’ve only come across one interview. Midnight Moon Cafe is talking with Deborah Cooke, author of the Dragonfire series.

There are a couple of new shots from the Twilight movie.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
