Brennan Contest Winners

contest winnersBefore I get to the winners of the contests that just ended, I wanted to remind everyone about the current contests going on:

Now on to the winners….

Marie Brennan

Natassia recently had the chance to ask Marie Brennan a few questions, including ones for her new novel, A Natural History of Dragons.. While she was here, we gave away 3 copies of A Natural History of Dragons. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: If you were confined to gender limitations such as Isabella, what would your ‘ladylike’ hobby be and if any, your ‘unladylike’? Now, without further ado, the winner is:

LAUREN who said: My ladylike hobby would be reading, and my unladylike would be woodwork.

BETH who said: Ergh, I’ve always been a tomboy, much to my grandmother’s chagrin. But I suppose I’d have to take up knitting or sewing – I’d rather like to be able to create cool things I can use. And warm scarves :-D

Unladylike? Oh, I’d definitely be running around the woods, catching critters. Though I currently consider that entirely ladylike behavior. I compensate by wearing pink while I run around catching snakes, frogs, and other beasties.

KIRSTEN L who said: My ladylike hobby would have to be cross-stitch or maybe scrapbooking. I love those things. My unladylike hobby would be shooting at the range, cause it’s a lot of fun!

Congratulations Lauren, Beth and Kirsten!

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
