Look Who’s Going to RT: Angie Fox

Angie Fox

Angie FoxCan you introduce yourself to my readers a little?
Sure. I’m a New York Times bestselling author and I write about demon slayers, biker witches and things that go bump in the night.

Can you introduce us to the world that you have created?
I’m writing two series right now. The Accidental Demon Slayer series is about a preschool teacher who learns she’s a demon slayer, and she has to hit the road with her Grandma’s gang of biker witches. Happens all the time, right? The first book in that series is The Accidental Demon Slayer and it’s up for free on Kindle, Nook, Kobo and Apple right now.

My other series is about a group of paranormal M*A*S*H surgeons in the middle of an immortal war. The first book in that series, Immortally Yours, is up for a RITA this year.

Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
Oh, I’ve been many, many times. I love RT. My best piece of advice? Pace yourself and have fun. There’s no telling who you’ll meet. It’s a ton of fun.

Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to?
Yes, I’m doing a panel with Kerrelyn Sparks, Pamela Palmer, Alyssa Day and Karina Cooper called Beyond Giggles and Screams: a lively discussion on light vs dark paranormal fiction.

Officially, The Giggles and Screams workshop is from 12 – 1 p.m. on Wednesday. I’ll also be appearing at Club RT at 3:30 on Wednesday and at 2:45 on Thursday (with free books!).

Also on Thursday, I’m helping to host a Romance Tropes Charades Party (Alexandra Ivy and I are in charge of the paranormal tropes) on Thursday from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

And, of course, I’m doing both big book signings.

If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
How about the author tailing a hot cover model? Just kidding. Sort of.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
