Can you introduce yourself to my readers a little?
I’m Donna Grant. I write paranormal (both historical and contemporary) for St. Martin’s Press. My bio says: New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Donna Grant has been praised for her “totally addictive” and “unique and sensual” stories. She’s the author of more than twenty novels spanning multiple genres of romance. Her latest acclaimed series, Dark Warriors, features a thrilling combination of Druids, primeval gods, and immortal Highlanders who are dark, dangerous, and irresistible. She lives with her husband, two children, a dog, and three cats in Texas.

Can you introduce us to the world that you have created?
My world for my immortal Highland Warriors and Druids began in medieval Scotland (Dark Sword) but has since moved into present day Scotland (Dark Warriors). My books generally come out back to back with my next ones out June (Midnight’s Kiss) and July (Midnight’s Captive), however SMP is doing a special by breaking the books into four parts and releasing them as serials a month before the print/full ebook releases. The heroes are Highlanders with primeval gods inside them, and the heroines are Druids with special magic that can either help – or hinder – the Warriors.
I also have a spin off series (Dark Kings) of the DW featuring Dragon Kings. The Dragon Kings and the Warriors are heavily connected, so readers who follow the entire series will get little hints and tidbits of each series.
Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
This will actually be my 4th RT, but I haven’t gone in a year or two because of deadlines.
Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to?
Yes, I’ll be on a panel with Lara Adrian and Pat Rouse called Beyond Social Networking on Friday.
If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
Probably the bar. :) Its where everyone is at.
