Contest: Thirteen by Kelley Armstrong

KArmstrong-Thirteen

KArmstrong-ThirteenThe final novel in Kelley Armstrong’s Otherworld series, Thirteen will be released as a mass market paperback at the end of the month and thanks to the wonderful people at Penguin, I have a copy to giveaway today.

A war is brewing and the first battle has already been waged. After rescuing her half brother from supernatural medical testing, Savannah Levine—a young witch of remarkable power and a dangerous pedigree—is battered, but still standing. The Supernatural Liberation Movement took him hostage, and they have a maniacal plan to expose the supernatural world to the unknowing.

Savannah is fighting to save her world as witches, werewolves, necromancers, vampires, half-demons, and all the forces of good and evil—including the genetically modified werewolves known as hell hounds—enter the fray. Uniting Savannah with Adam, Elena, Clay, Paige, Lucas, Jaime, Hope, and other denizens of the Otherworld, Thirteen is a thrilling conclusion to this blockbuster series.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. loved this cause it started out with strong lady characters and didnt’ stop all the way through . Love Elena, Paige and all the other heroines. and Clay he was what he was and made no apologies for it. Loved that.

  2. I loved how this was a well thought out series and you could see character growth. I liked Elena the best. I would say to someone who is starting out that they are lucky that the series is finished so they don’t have to wait for the next book. It’s all there already!

  3. I loved reading the different point of views of the characters in the series. I’m going to miss reading about Elena and the pack.

  4. I am going to miss how all the stories entwined and all the characters sort of knew each other. I love Elena’s stories the best because I am a werewolf fan. Kelley Armstrong made her characters really interesting and brave heroines. <3 I wish the series would continue, but all good things come to an end.
