Contest: Covet by JR Ward

JRWard-CovetIn anticipation of the fifth Fallen Angels novel b JR Ward, Possession, I have 5 copies of the first novel, Covet, to give away thanks to the wonderful people at Penguin.

Seven deadly sins. Seven souls to save. This is the first battle between a savior who doesn’t believe and a demon with nothing to lose!

Redemption isn’t a word Jim Heron knows much about-his specialty is revenge, and to him, sin is all relative. But everything changes when he becomes a fallen angel and is charged with saving the souls of seven people from the seven deadly sins. And failure is not an option.

Vin DiPietro long ago sold his soul to his business, and he’s good with that-until fate intervenes in the form of a tough-talking, Harley-riding, self-professed savior. And then he meets a woman who will make him question his destiny, his sanity, and his heart-and he has to work with a fallen angel to win her over and redeem his own soul.

Contest Details!
I have 5 copies of Covet to giveaway. To enter, all you have to do is answer this one question: Which sin do you think it would be the hardest to save someone from and why? Remember, you must answer the question in order to be entered. (US only)

Even though I’m not giving the additional entries any more, you can still help support the author by sharing their article, and this contest, on your blog, Twitter, Facebook, or anywhere you can. After all, the more people who are aware of this fabulous author ensures we get more fabulous stories.

The winner must post a review of the novel someplace. Whether it is on their own blog, Amazon, GoodReads, LibraryThing or wherever, it doesn’t matter. Just help get the word out.

The contest will stay open until September 15th at which time I’ll determine the winner with help from this snazzy plug-in that I have.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. I think Envy would the hardest to save someone from, because that’s such a basic thing for humans, to want what you see someone else has
Although I changed my mind 3 times about which of the 7 deadly sins to pick, so I think they’d all be hard to save someone from!

  2. Greed, because it’s like a sickness that gets under the skin and poisons everything it comes in contact with.

  3. I think greed would be the hardest to save someone from. I believe that once a person gets that way it’s almost impossible to get them to change. They want what they want and can’t understand why they can’t have everything they want.

  4. I think Pride would be very difficult. Because it is good to be proud of yourself and what you do but there is a fine line. So learning where that fine line is would be the challenge.

  5. I think Greed. So many people are struggling these days that the need of money and possessions is extreme. Once someone has something, usually they want more and more.

  6. I think pride since a person would think that he/she did not needed to change and are self-satisfied with themselves.

  7. Out of the seven deadly sins, I would say that Pride is probably the hardest to save someone from. Pride is directly linked to all of the sins and it is highlighted in Lucifer’s motivations that lead to his fall from Heaven. It’s good to be proud of yourself but often times too much pride leads to some type of downfall/backlash.

  8. I can’t believe I missed this! I have all, and I mean all, of J.R.’s novels and would have loved to receive one directly from her. I want to curl in a ball. *sobbs* =( Shelbie =/
