Contest: Black & Blue by Gena Showalter

A few months ago, I had the ultimate honor of meeting Gena Showalter (and interviewing her here). We had such a wonderful time together that she fulfilled a dream I didn’t even know I had by putting me in the acknowledgments of Black and Blue.  SQUEE! (I’m seriously still freaking out.) Gena has very generously given us a second signed copy of Black and Blue to give away here on LE.

GShowalter-Black and BlueNew York Times bestselling author Gena Showalter’s pulse-pounding paranormal series continues with an electrifying story about the ultimate warrior and his prize: a beautiful woman he will do anything to possess.

HE IS EVERY WOMAN’S FANTASY . . .
Corbin Blue is a man of many talents. One of the most powerful otherworlders ever born, he is wealthy, a professional football star, and a legend in the bedroom. But only a select few know he is also a black ops agent . . . and there is no better killer. When he and his crew are attacked and separated, he’s forced to turn to his boss’s daughter for help—a woman with even more secrets than Blue.

SHE BECOMES HIS ONLY OBSESSION . . .
Evangeline Black has always been wary, guarded. No man has ever breached her walls. Until Blue. He has never been denied something he wants, and now he’s decided he wants her. As he sweeps her into his double life of seduction, intrigue, and danger, he helps her see beyond the darkness of her past. But as an enemy closes in, Blue will have to let Evie go to keep her safe—even though he’d rather die than live without her. . . .

Contest Details!
Gena is giving away a signed paperback copy of Black and Blue. To enter, all you have to do is answer this one question: If you could ask Gena Showalter one question, what would it be? Remember, you must answer the question in order to be entered.

Even though I’m not giving the additional entries any more, you can still help support the author by sharing their article, and this contest, on your blog, Twitter, Facebook, or anywhere you can. After all, the more people who are aware of this fabulous author ensures we get more fabulous stories.

The winner must post a review of the novel someplace. Whether it is on their own blog, Amazon, GoodReads, LibraryThing or wherever, it doesn’t matter. Just help get the word out.

The contest will stay open until October 31st at which time I’ll determine the winner with help from this snazzy plug-in that I have.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. Ack. I’m really terrible at coming up with questions for authors. I mean, REALLY bad. But I, always curious what authors a writer likes to read. So, I would ask Gena who her fav authors are

  2. What does she have in mind for the Lord of the Underworld and the Angels of the Dark series. Does she have an ending in mind?
Also, will she come back to the Atlantis series/world?

  3. How many more Lords of the Underworld books are planned? Will there be more cross-over characters with Kresley Cole?

  4. Hi Gena, my question is what inspires you to come up with such fantastically dark stories? I’m not complaining, I love them. but do you ever have ideas for something a bit more light and fluffy?

  5. I am a Showalter fan so I have many questions for Gena but I’ll settle on one. :-) When do you plan to finish the Intertwined series? Twisted had a HUGE cliffhanger ending and was released in 2011. It is a brilliantly unique series and I’m seriously itching for the finale.

    Thanks for the opportunity!
