Contest WinnersBefore I get to the winners of the contests that just ended, I wanted to remind everyone about the current contests going on:

Now on to the winners….

Nalini Singh Pick Your Angel Contest

In anticipation of the sixth Guild Hunter novel by Nalini Singh, Archangel’s Legion, I have 3 copies of any Guild Hunter novel (winners choice), to give away thanks to the wonderful people at Penguin. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: Which of Raphael’s 7 – Illium, Dmitri, Venom, Jason, Naasir, Galen, Aodhan – is your favorite and why? Now, without further ado, the winners are:

MARGAY who said: I haven’t read about them yet, so I can’t pick – but I’d like to!

JESS1 who said: I know this author is extremely popular, but have not read any of her books yet due to being so far behind. I would love to win one of her books to try one out.

LAUFEY333 who said: I have always loved Illium. For one, his blue wings, blue tiped hair and even eye lashes are so beautiful. Also, I was just drawn to his character from the first book. I do think his attraction to humans will get him in trouble one of these days though.

I really loved Dimitri’s book. The whole long lost wife in the body and spirit of a modern woman was so sweet and sad and sexy. I also really would like to read more about Nasir and Aodhan (what happened to him?!).

I’m so dang excited for this book. I love this series so. I can hardly wait! I love that Nalini has continued the Raphel Elena story through what will be 4 books now. She can’t write enough for me. Yay!

Congratulations Margay, Jess1 and Laufey333!

Lauren Dane Contest

I had the fabulous Lauren Dane on Literary Escapism discussing all things Brown Family, Drawn Together, Hurleys and more. While she was here, we gave away a signed copy of Laid Bare. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: Which one of Lauren’s series would you start with or recommend to someone else and why? Urban fantasy w/romance Goddess With a Blade, Sexy contemp Laid Bare, sweeter contemp Giving Chase, or paranormal romance Heart of Darkness. Now, without further ado, the winner is:

CORINNE who said: Ohhhhh….THAT is soooo easy for me to answer…Laid Bare, for sure, hands down & no question. THIS is my fav book of Lauren’s!! <3 With those SEXY Chase boys next. Why you say?? Why the heck not!! I used to belong to the defunct book club Doubleday and they recommended Laid Bare one month. Ohhh boy was I in for a shock considering this was my FIRST menage book!! I instantly fell in love with this boisterous, loving, musical and ever faithful Brown family with all their extended family. Yes even Raven. Granted she was a hard one to even like but the more you read about her the more you knew there were underlying circumstances. All of these characters can be anyone you know and Lauren’s style of writing brought them to life. I am ecstatic that we will see these characters in the future!! Great interview!!

Congratulations Corinne!

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
