Outlander.JamieThere’s been a few more Outlander screen shots surfacing and I’ve been adding them to the STARZ Outlander album on FB. One of them is this beefy shot of Jamie, presumably with Claire in the background, being all shirtless hot.

Kim Harrison is doing a Reddit AMA today. If you’ve ever wanted to ask her something, this would be the time to do it. You can leave your question when it starts and then come back to check out the answer later.

Nalini Singh has given us a few more details for the next Guild Hunter novel. The next book will feature Ash and Janvier from Angels’ Pawn as main characters, but we’ll also get to see a lot of Elena and Raphael. The seventh novel will take place after the event so of Archangel’s Legion.

If you’ve been wanting to try Shiloh Walker’s urban fantasy Kit Colbana series, here’s a great opportunity to do so. She’ll be releasing a prequel novella that takes place between A Stroke of Dumb Luck and Blade Song.

For the first time in her life, Kit Colbana’s life was going just fine.  She had a nice, easy job.  She’d managed to escape the not-so-loving attentions of a family who’d rather see her dead than look at her.  She had a roof over her head and she didn’t have to fight for every little thing she had.

Then she finds herself tangled up with a green-eyed witch by the name of Justin.  He’s looking for somebody and for some bizarre reason, he seems to think she can help.  All she has to do is say no, and she can go back to her safe little existence.  That’s exactly what she needs to do and she knows it.

Too bad she’s not very good at following her own advice.

Samuel AndersonMore details are starting to trickle out for the August return of Doctor Who, which will begin the incarnation of Peter Capaldi’s run as the Doctor. Number 12 will have Clara Oswald as a companion, but the duo will be acquiring a third member. It’s been announced that Samuel Anderson (The History Boys, Emmerdale), another teacher at Coal Hill School where Clara teaches, will be joining the Tardis team.

Steven Moffat, lead writer and executive producer, added: ‘For the fourth time in Doctor Who history, Coal Hill School is coming to the aid of the TARDIS. In 1963 teachers Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright accompanied the First Doctor. These days it’s the turn of Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald. And very soon now, Sam Anderson as Danny Pink will be entering the world of the Doctor.

Katie MacAlister has announced that she’ll be writing 3 new Dragon novels to be released in 2015. We’ve already seen the Green and Silver Septs, but which Sept will be featured this time around hasn’t been made public. There’s discussion going on about which it could be, but it’s over at her Katie Mac Official Discussion Group and I haven’t been able to find out yet.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
