Unknown Betrayals

Dude…check out what I found over at Michelle’s Book Blog.  It is the cover for the new Outcast novel by Rachel Caine, Unknown.  Yes it’s legit, confirmed via Twitter, and check out who has a cover blurb.  It’s our own Darque Reviews.  How awesome is that!

Interviews:

We have some Nightwalker news over at Jacquelyn Frank’s site.  She has mentioned that the next Shadowdwellers book, Pleasure, is actually two stories in one, so I’m assuming that means it will be longer than prior novels.  You’ll get Sagan and Malaya’s stories.  Plus, she’s currently working on the sixth Nightwalker novel which will feature Jasmine.

Would you like a taste of the new Dark Magick series by Anya Bast?  She’s posted an excerpt for Sweet Enchantment which is a novella being released in the Hot for the Holidays anthology.  Plus, she’s also posted the first chapter to Wicked Enchantment, the first full length novel in this new series.

Dame Jackie at Deadline Dames has a great post on some classic Urban Fantasy (and any SF/F/H).  There are quite a few novels on the list that I enjoy and/or have forgotten about.

Tez Says has found an updated cover for Lili St. Crow’s Betrayals.  There are a few minor changes, but the biggest one is the guys in the background.

Chloe Neill is giving us a sneak peak at the second Chicagoland Vampires novel, Friday Nights Bite.

Caitlin Kittredge has posted a list of all her books, which includes Shades of Gray, another novel she’s co-writing with Jackie Kessler.  It’s due to be released sometime next Spring.

If you haven’t already heard the news, Melissa Marr, Kelley Armstrong and Allyson Noel are putting together a kickass YA book tour for next year (in the fall I believe).  There is also a list of about 7 other novels (Jeri Smith-Ready and Rachel Vincent to name 2) that will be appearing at various stops as well.  They are still in the process of planning this gig, but you can keep up to date on it at their Facebook page.  Also, they are looking for suggestions as to stops for the tour.  I’m all about a Detroit tour or somewhere relatively close.

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
