It’s up! It’s up! The first chapter of Swallowing Darkness by Laurell K Hamilton is up and I am so going to go right over and read it….as soon as Ian goes down for a nap.
So I just found out something that kind of depresses me. Laurell K Hamilton has story in the upcoming The Living Dead anthology and I just found out which story is in it. The story, Those That Seek Forgiveness, isn’t new and was previously published in LKH’s Strange Candy. I was hoping for a new story, even if it didn’t involve the Anita or Merry universe, but since I already own Strange Candy, I’m not really seeing an motivation to go out and find this anthology right away now.
There is some Katie MacAlister news. She’s announced the title for the third Silver Dragon’s novel. It is going to be Me and My Shadow. At the moment, it’s not really working for me, but that might change. Since she is starting to work on it, Katie is starting up her Write Along With Katie (WAWK) session over at her forum. Rules and information can be found on the WAWK post in her message forum. She has also posted the excerpt for Up in Smoke.
There is some great Jeaniene Frost news. Her publisher has brought two more Night Huntress novels so we’ll have a total of seven books in the series. Plus they have also brought two additional novels, both taking place in the same world, but one will involve Charles (aka Spade) and the other will focus on Mencheres. I’m so psyched about that now.

Sidhe Vicious has a review up for Wages of Sin by Jenna Maclaine. I’ve been seeing this novel around lately and after reading Judi’s review, it’s really caught my interest. I’m going to have to go and find it someplace.
