Look Who’s Going to RT: Deborah Coonts

Deborah CoontsCan you introduce yourself to my readers a little?
Let see, my mother tells me I was born a long time ago, but I’m not so sure–my mother can’t be trusted. I do know I was raised in Texas on BBQ, Mexican food and beer. I now live in Vegas where my friends assure me I can’t get into any trouble–silly people. I am the author of the Lucky O’Toole Vegas Adventure series (Wanna Get Lucky?) –a romantic, funny, light mystery series set in Sin City.

I can be found at: Website | Blog | Facebook | Twitter | Google+ | GoodReads | Amazon

Can you introduce us to the world(s) that you have created?
Worlds—I right in the real world, sorta…. It’s Las Vegas…what else is there to say:)

Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
I’m a RT virgin….be gentle.

Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to or are planning on attending?
I am wait-listed for panels and will be involved in the mass signing thing.

Is there anything in particular you’re looking forward to or experiencing while in New Orleans?
Gumbo, beignets, Hurricanes (the alcoholic kind)…and just the vibe of that wonderful city.

If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
The gal wandering around with her eyes wide, her mouth open, looking overwhelmed, lost and like she needs friends.

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
