I love anthologies and check out this new one. Rachel Vincent unveiled the cover for a new one titled Immortal, which happens to be a YA vampire romance collection. This one may seem a little familiar to you since this is an updated cover which now includes a story by Vincent. The original was missing Rachel.

There’s going to be some new additions to the Dark-Hunter family. Sherrilyn Kenyon has announced their will now be action figures for all of the Dark-Hunters. The company putting it together, Ashton-Drake, is looking for some help though. They want input from the fans as to what the figures should look like! Kenyon is asking fans to fill out this survey and by doing so you’ll also be entered into a contest. Sweetness!
Yes, I am a slacker when it comes to announcing winners for contests. Hopefully you will all forgive me my momentary lapses that seem to regularly occur at the end of a contest. :) The Devil Speak contest ended a couple of weeks ago and I so need to get this book sent out. So without further ado, the commenter who gets Speak of the Devil by Jenna Black is…SARAH who said: I didn’t read a lot of Mills & Boon and Harlequin stuff due to their covers but found some great reads there.
Michelle’s Book Blog seems to find all of the newest covers and the current find is for Jacquelyn Frank’s Hunting Julian, which is the first book in Franks Gatherers series. Hunting Julian is scheduled to be released January 1, 2010.
SciFiGuy has the cover and blurb for Howling Legion by Marcus Pelegtrimas. This is the second Skinners novel and will be released October 27, 2009.
The Examiner.com has a great list of YA authors in the Seattle area. The only name on the list I recognize is Richelle Mead, but it’s also a YA list. I know there are a great number of other authors who stomp around Seattle and I wish I could think of they are at the moment. Talk about a brain freeze. It must be this weird cooler weather we’re having at the moment.
And I didn’t forget, I have one more winner to announce and this one isn’t all that late! Leanna Renee Heiber was recently here and we’re giving away a copy of her The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker and the lucky commenter who gets it is LORI, who said: I think the ghost story that sticks with me the most is one of the first I ever read – – a tale called “Mirror of Danger”….
Duuuude. Have you seen Dakota Fanning in New Moon yet? Seriously, I am loving the look. Now I can’t wait to see what Alex looks like.
