Military spouse by day, book blogger by night. Recently moved from Honolulu, Hawaii to Baltimore, Maryland, bringing the Aloha Spirit to Charm City.

Can you introduce us to the site that you review at?
I have a book blog, , and a travel blog, Aloha On My Mind.
I blog at SOS Aloha. SOS represents SOS America – a military charity founded by Kathryn Falk, Lady of Barrow, and owner of RT Book Reviews Magazine. Aloha represents Hawaii where I lived when I created my blog. Even though I recently moved from Hawaii, I carry the Aloha Spirit with me as it is what I feel when I am around other booklovers – affection, peace, compassion, and welcome.
Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
I have attended 7 of the past 9 conventions (I missed last year as my husband was deployed to Korea … someone had to stay home with my teens in Hawaii). Be open – chat with others in line. Be patient – others get grabby and pushy, but there is plenty for all. Be prepared – bring preprinted labels with name and email to press on the entry forms for the many giveaways in Club RT.
Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to or are planning on attending?
I am hosting the SOS Military Tribute (Morning Mixer) on Sunday, May 18, 9:30 am. It is open to all!
Is there anything in particular you’re looking forward to or experiencing while in New Orleans?
Since I missed RT last year, I am looking forward to being around romance readers who get excited just being together!

The 2014 RT Booklovers Convention will be held in New Orleans on May 13th – 18th at the Marriott hotel on Canal Street in the historic French Quarter.
