#BlackFriday: Some Gifts Come In Twos by Lia Davis

Black Friday.2014Black Friday is here and we’re discussing the season with Lia Davis’s Rhianna, Alasdair, and Gideon from It’s A Vampire Christmas.

The hunt for the past will set their future…

Alasdair Morgan, vampire lord of the south Atlantic region of the United States, and his mate, Gideon, are on the search for an ancient journal. The secrets the book holds within its leather binding can be used to destroy their race’s queen, Lilith. When they finally find the journal, they discover it is in the humans’ hands and being sold at a Christmas charity auction. However, a female with her own agenda has her sights set on possessing the book.

Some gifts come in twos…

Being a half-breed living among humans, Rhianna Howell knows the importance of secrecy all too well. When she discovers one of the lost vampire artifacts, she doesn’t waste time in collecting it before it falls into the wrong hands. But keeping the journal safe from evil will put her in the seductive path of two vampires who claim to be her mates.

The days and nights heat up this Christmas as she discovers a fiery passion she can’t deny or run from.

Make sure you stick around to the end and earn another entry into the Black Friday $50 Amazon giftcard giveaway.

Some gifts come in twos…

LDavis-Vampire ChristmasRhianna entered the living room and frowned at the sight. Her vampire mates, Alasdair and Gideon, were hunched over a map spread out on the coffee table. Each of their brows drawn together in the same intense, serious expression.

“You two aren’t ready.”

They jumped and faced her, but it was Alasdair who smile seductively, rose, and stalked toward her. “You look lovely this morning.”

She held in a smile as she tried to give what she hoped was a stern glare. “Flattery isn’t going to get you out of trouble if you two are working. We’re supposed to go Christmas shopping.”

The sexy smile widen and he cupped her face with his warm hand. “We aren’t working. Gideon and I were mapping out a plan.”

She glanced to Gideon as he moved closer to them. “Mapping out a plan? To go shopping?”

“Yes,” Gideon wrapped his arms around her, drawing her body flush with his. After placing a kiss on her neck, his said, “It’s Christmas Eve. We need a plan to in and get everything without incident.”

She rolled her eyes, but couldn’t keep the laugh from escaping. “What kind of incidents?”

Alasdair looked her in the eyes, his features void of emotion. “People tend to forget their manners this time of year. Plus I’d like to spend as little time in the stores as possible. You do have a list, right?”

“I’m shopping for my father and Bless. I have an idea what to get him, but not a clue about Bless.” Rhianna stepped out of Gideon embrace and collected her purse from the couch.

Gideon let out a playful growl. “I know what you can get Bless. It involves C4.”

Rhianna glared at him with her lips pressed together, trying not to laugh. Gideon, however, did laugh. “Bless may not be the most nurturing gargoyle, but she’s like family to me.”

Alasdair linked his fingers with hers and tugged her close. “Gideon is teasing. Are you sure you can’t order them something from the Internet? I can think of more pleasurable things we could be doing instead.”

She kissed his cheek. “You promised.”

“Yes, we did, love. Let’s go get it over with, but don’t think you are getting out of our bed for the rest of winter.” Desire lit up Alasdair’s blue eyes.

Gideon closed in behind her and nipped at her shoulder. Heat spread through every inch of her and her knees weakened. Damn vampires. “Oh hell, it’s not like they expect gifts anyway. After all, they don’t even celebrate the Holiday.”

She eased out from between them and rushed up the stairs. Their quick footsteps closed in from behind. Excitement fluttered in her belly at the knowledge they would catch her. Although she wasn’t trying very hard to escape them.

Alasdair was the first to catch up. He scooped her up in his arms and continued up the stairs and to their bedroom. Gideon was on their heels.

In a flash, she was stripped down to her bra and panties, thanks to Gideon’s telekinetic abilities. The soft, satin feel of the bedspread touched her back as Alasdair laid her on the bed and met her gaze. “If you desire it, we will take you shopping after we’re done with you.”

“You don’t have to.”

“A few hours of whiny, crazy holiday shoppers is worth a lifetime with you.” Gideon whispered before trailing kisses down her throat.

Who was she to argue with that?

“I love you. Both of you.”

“We love you,” they said at the same time, warming her heart all the more.

This was truly the best Christmas ever. Her gifts were two strong, possessive vampires who had huge hearts and showered her in their love every moment of each day. She’d have it no other way.
