#CMCon16 Author Reveal: K.C. Burn

It’s my third author reveal for Coastal Magic Convention and today I have a new (to me) paranormal/science fiction romance author to introduce you to. Even if you’re in a contemporary mood, K.C. Burn has quite a few novels that might just pique your interest.

KC BurnI’ve been writing for what feels like my whole life. I’m a sucker for a happy ending (get your mind out of the gutters!) so it’s been romance almost all the way. After moving from Toronto to Florida for my hubby to take a dream job, I discovered a love of gay romance and fulfilled my own dream — getting published. After a few years of editing web content by day and at night, neglecting my supportive hubby and needy cat to write about men loving men, I was uprooted yet again, and now reside in California.

Writing is always fun, despite the hard work, but writing about my guys is more fun than I’ve had in a long time. Love between consenting adults is a beautiful thing, and should be celebrated, regardless of sexual orientation. I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I love writing them.

If you’re looking for a new romance to disappear into (and really who isn’t?), then make sure you check out K.C. Burn’s backlist. Between the ones below, Rainbow Blues, The Jogger, First Time, Forever, her Toronto Tales series, and others that can be found at her website, there’s plenty to choose from.

K.C. Burn is just one of the many authors who will be at Coastal Magic next February (if you missed the other reveals, click here). If you’re going to be a beach bum with me in February (and if you’re not going, you really should), make sure you check out one of K.C. Burn’s books.

North on Drummond

KCBurn-North on DrummondSandy Bottom Bay, Florida–Come for the Haunts, Stay for the Beaches!

Drew Drummond might call himself a psychic tarot reader, but he doesn’t believe in the supernatural. The business was left to him by his grandmother, and seemed the best way to rise above the chronic criminal behavior of the Drummond family. Despite his efforts, few of the townspeople consider him a good romantic match. Being gay only makes finding love more difficult.

When Cliff Garcia, Drew’s teenaged crush, moves back to town and joins the police force, Drew doesn’t think he has a chance. After all, the skeptical cop considers Drew’s profession on par with professional conmen, and Cliff had spent his entire school career feuding with Drew’s volatile brothers. Despite the obstacles, Drew and Cliff begin a fiery relationship.

Just when Drew starts to believe they might have a chance, he suffers a head injury and begins having visions of the future. If Drew tells Cliff the truth, he’ll lose the man he’s falling for, but keeping his new ability a secret is no longer an option. If he can’t convince Cliff he’s for real, a murderer will walk free.

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
