Literary Escapism had the awesome opportunity of being one of the featured bloggers for the Reading Until Dawn Convention in Denver, Colorado this past weekend. With this distinction, one of our responsibilities was to help showcase the various featured authors that appeared the conventions as well as the convention itself.
I don’t know about you guys, but putting together an endless run of interviews can get dull after awhile. Especially when I’m not the only one doing convention spotlights. I wanted to do something a little different…and I do love mini fiction (case in point – Black Friday and School’s In)…so I started scheming.
I had this idea and I talked a few of the authors who attended #RUDC15 into participating!
Over the last few months, LE showcased the #RUDC15 featured authors with a new exclusive mini-fiction series titled Midnight Games, which featured the #RUDC15 authors spinning tales of what their characters would do as they stay up all night playing games. Many of the characters ended up in some pretty interesting shenanigans.
If you missed all the nightly fun, here’s your second chance. Check out these fabulous stories:
- Celestina & Ryan Indulge in Midnight Games by Jeffe Kennedy
- Kathryn and Gabriel Indulge in Midnight Games by E.D. Walker
- Four Clubs by Aaron Michael Ritchey
- Joker’s Deck by Holley Trent
- Midnight Games with Tracey Terwiggle by Kimberly Kennedy
- Games of Chance by Roselynn Cannes
