#CMCon16: Paige Tyler’s Favorite Line (and Why) From In the Company of Wolves

As one of the #CMCon16 featured bloggers, I get to have a little fun with a few of the fabulous authors who will be hitting the beach for Coastal Magic 2016 by showcasing their many stories. In addition to the At the Beach feature (which will return now that Black Friday is over), Jennifer is having some End of the Year/New Years fun by asking each of the fabulous authors a new question each day this week. Since quite a few are joining in the fun, some of the featured bloggers are joining in as well.

Here are the topics for the week: be sure to check back (or subscribe – that would be easier *grin*) to see what our authors (or maybe even their characters) have to say about each day’s theme.

Monday: Book I’m Most Looking Forward To In 2016 (NOT My Own!)
Tuesday: Favorite Line (and Why) From My OWN 2015 Title
Wednesday: Something I’d Like To Learn To Do In 2016
Thursday: Habit I’d Like To Break In 2016
Friday: A Toast To The New Year

Today we get to see which line is Paige Tyler’s favorite from her new SWAT novel, In The Company of Wolves.

PTyler-In the Company of WolvesThere’s a new gang of criminals in town who are organized and ruthless in the extreme. When Eric Becker, along with the rest of the Dallas SWAT team, ends up in the middle of a shootout, he immediately senses werewolves-a lot of them. Turns out, the new bad guys are a pack of wolf shifters.

In a spray of gunfire, Becker comes face-to-face with the most gorgeous woman he’s ever seen. Becker does the logical thing. He hides her and leaves the scene with the rest of his team.

Jayna Winston has no idea why that SWAT guy helped her, but she’s glad he did. Ever since she and her pack mates got mixed up with those Eastern European mobsters, everything had pretty much fallen apart.

So what’s a street-savvy thief like Jayna going to do with a hot alpha-male wolf who’s a police officer?

“Your whole pack won’t fit on the back of a Harley,” he’d told her with a smile.

Yet another reminder of why she loved him.

This is my favorite line in my newest release In The Company of Wolves (SWAT) because it sums up how much Becker loves Jayna. So much that he buys an SUV instead of another Harley to replace his former bike, which got demolished in the book.

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
