I’m baaack with some news

I’ve been away all weekend doing some holiday baking (for recipes, check out Open Source Cook), so I haven’t been able to check my normal sites. Anyway, when I was going through them today, I came across this post at LK Hamilton’s site confirming that there WILL be more Merry books.  Yea!

Another thing that seems to have occurred over the weekend is an explosion of covers. Check out the new cover for Caitlin Kittredge’s Street Magic.  This is another masterpiece by Chris McGrath.

Interviews:

Here’s the cover for Mark del Franco’s new novel, Unfallen Dead. The third novel in del Franco’s Conner Grey series, Unfallen Dead, will be out January 27, 2009.

I just found a new artist thanks to Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist.  The artist is Vincent Chong and I think I’m going to try and find out more.

My husband has been doing NaNoWriMo this month and he’s already reached 50,000 words!  Isn’t that awesome.  I’ll be throwing up some excerpts from the novel he’s writing this week, so keep an eye out for them.

And here’s the last new cover I have for today. It’s for Melissa Marr’s new novel, Fragile Eternity.  The third novel in Marr’s Fae series, Fragile Eternity, will be out April 21, 2009.

I am taking submissions for the December Bookworm Carnival stop at Literaty Escapism.  The theme is historical fiction, so email me your reviews and let me know which century the book takes place in and I’ll add it to the carnival.

Raine Delight is the guest blogger over at Bitten by Books today. There’s a contest for a copy of Delight’s newest novel, Fairy Kisses and Magical Dreams, so hop on over for a chance to win.

Stormy Glen was guest blogging over at JK Coi’s blog on Friday.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
