Taste of the Night by Vicki Pettersson

Like I said I would, I gave the second novel in Vicki Pettersson’s Signs of the Zodiac series a try. Taste of the Night was definitely better than the first one, but still kind of strange. There was one point where confusion set in. There’s such conflict regarding the Light & Shadow sides that reside in Joanna/Olivia that at one point, I’m not sure if Pettersson knew what was going to happen. Overall, the plot was better than the first one and the conflicts were a bit more reasonable. While I’m not going to run out and buy this series, I will keep an eye out for the third novel Touch of Twilight when it comes out this May.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
