For fans of Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling series, you’ll be happy to know that Dorian’s story, Hostage to Pleasure, will be released in September. If anyone has turned into a Yahoo! Groups junkie (like I seem to be doing), then you might also want to check out Anya Bast’s group. She uses it as her newsletter and there is a ton of fun stuff in it.
The fifth book in the World of the Lupi series by Eileen Wilks was announced. It will be called Mortal Sins and involves Lily, Rule, and his son Toby. It’s due out March 2009.
Something fun…to celebrate the release of the third Cassie Palmer novel, Karen Chance has a graphic novel, which happens to be the first chapter. It’s done really well and it’s great to have faces to put to some of her characters.
Katie MacAlister is starting a new series. The first novel is Ghost of a Chance and is a paranormal mystery. There is an excerpt available on her website and will be out in February. Even better news…Gabriel finds a mate. There is a silver dragon novel, Playing with Fire, coming out in May. It looks like it’s a spin off of the Aisling Grey series.
Anthology News!!
Weddings from Hell will be released May 28th. Maggie Shayne, Jeaniene Frost, Kathryn Smith, and Teri Garey are the authors contributing stories.
Another anthology in the works will involve Melissa Marr, Vicki Pettersson, Jocelynn Drake, and Kim Harrison (who will be headlining). It’s not due to come out until May 2009 though. The only thing I know for certain about this one is that Frost is thinking of doing her short in Bones POV.
Wolfsbane and Mistletoe, due out October 2008 will involve Charlaine Harris, Karen Chance, Kat Richardson, Dana Stabenow, Patricia Briggs, and Rob Thurman. The premise surrounds werewolves and Christmas.
Mammoth Vampire Anthology will be out in July. Keri Arthur, Jenna Black, Alysson James, Caitlin Kiernan, Vicki Pettersson, Lilith Saintcrow and Shiloh Walker are all contributing stories. I’m going to guess it’s going to involve vampires. :)
