Eclipsing Revenant Details in Hell

The Horror Yearbook has unleashed the poster for the next Twilight movie, Eclipse. Snazzy, huh.

Check out what I found over at Wicked Little Pixie. It’s the cover for the second Marcella Acosta novel by Dakota Cassidy, My Way to Hell, which will be released July 2010.

Suvudu has added two new books to their Free Library.  You can now get your own free copies of Wit’ch Fire by James Clemens (The Banned and Banished #1) and Already Dead by Charlie Huston (Joe Pitt #1).

Melissa Marr has posted the prologue and chapter one to the fourth Fae novel, Radiant Shadows.

Interviews:

Jeaniene Frost has exciting news.  The first two novels in her Night Huntress series, Halfway to the Grave and One Foot in the Grave, will be coming out in audio books.  There isn’t a release date yet, but she’s hoping they’ll come out soon. She’s hoping she’ll be able to sell the audio rights to At Grave’s End and Destined for an Early Grave, but she’s waiting to get the audio rights back from her publisher, so there’s going to be a wait for these.

Lurv a la Mode has a fascinating article on why centuries old vampires are falling for the the tweens of our generation.  It’s something I’ve never really thought about because the vampires are generally depicted as trying to live in their appeared age group, but I do get what Kmont is saying.  Babbling About Books has an equally fascinating take on the average of said vampire and tween.

Check out the cover Phaedra Weldon is showcaseing for the fourth Zoe Martinique novel, Revenant. You’ll be able to add this one to your shelves on June 1, 2010. Gotta love how SciFiGuy and Dark Faerie Tales find all these great covers.

SciFiGuy has the cover art and blurb for KA Stewart’s A Devil in the Details.  This is Stewart’s debut urban fantasy novel and will be available July 6, 2010.  Doug also has the cover for Cynthia Eden’s I’ll be Slaying You, which releases in July 2010 as well.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. Thanks for the mention! And yeah, crazy how many contests there are, isn’t it?

I hadn’t thought about the vampire age discrepancy before reading those posts, beyond the drama when the vampire goes on about how he’s too old for her, blah blah blah.
